Dia came to us from Durant, Oklahoma. She has survived distemper (a contagious and serious viral illness with no known cure. It attacks a dog’s tonsils and lymph nodes and replicates itself there for about a week... It then attacks the respiratory, urogenital, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems. ) After recovered she then got brave and tried to climb something that wasnt meant for climbing... got her leg stuck and injured herself. We believe that right before her transport to us... She got into a scuffle with a snake or spider. Her throat and one side of her face were swollen to nearly double the size of normal. A week or so later she safely arrived here, in kansas city. She has been through ALL of this by the young age of 7 months. She is currently being medical boarded at Dearborn Animal Clinic before her FHO surgery to fix her leg. She is the SWEETEST girl we have come across in a long time. She just wants to be your buddy, tail wagging and kisses are all to
o familiar to anyone who meets her.
